Sorry

Hey guys it's me, I am so sorry I haven't been on here for a while.

In recent weeks I found out that we were having a baby!!!

So with that said I had to pull my self out of the Healthy you challenge....

But I just wanted to say thank you to every one for there support. In total I lost 38lbs!!! And felt great !! I still do!


Almost forgot baby is due in early January. After that I will be back. I will only have 5 months till the wedding and will have to loose every thing all over again :)

Week 15

I almost for got that it was weigh in time.... I am still weighing in at 158lbs. I just can't get past it. But I also haven't been gaining anything back so that ROCKS!!

I have been roller blading the last 3 days. Every night/day that it is nice... I have alot of practicing to do that is for sure. I haven't fallen yet but last night I came very close....

Roller Blading

On Saturday I went out to Target and bought my new pair of roller blades! YAY! I am so happy.

I went with my friend later on that day to a park to try them out... I didn't fall. But it wasn't easy. It has been years since I have had a pair on.

Not even half way through it I felt like I couldn't go anymore.... I pushed myself the rest of they way. I am really proud of my self for it. But there was no way that I was going to take them off and walk.

Well today it is snowing. and yesterday it was raining but I plan to go everyday it is nice :)

Week 11,12,13

Yes, I am still here just really busy. I am sorry that I haven't even got to go and comment on others blogs too. I just haven't really been able to have a chance to sit down a be on the computer.

Week 11,12 I wasn't doing so good.

Week 13 I way 159lbs. So I am down 2lbs. But I have also been waling everyday I can. Despite the fact we keep getting snow.

This weekend I am going to buy roller blades!!! I am so so excited!

And tomorrow I am going to start walking my daughter to school every day it is nice until school is out.

Help

K here is the deal... I was in CVS today. One of my friends there asks me if I have ever tried one of those Cadbury eggs? I was like no... What's in it? I have never tried one I always thought they looked so grouse. But she insisted that I buy one and try it since all Easter candy is 50% off. I gave in and bought one.

Shame on me right there.

I never should of done that.

Because ever since then, all I can think about is eating one of them eggs.

AWWWWWW......

Don't worry though. I promise I will not buy another one. I should of just never tried on of them. Then I wouldn't know how good they are.

Week 10

Healthy you challenge

Alright guys I am sad to say I gained some weight back. I ma back to 161lbs again...

A little depressing but I am trying to be positive. I have not had that best month.

My grandpa's cancer came back. And there is nothing they can do. So it is really hard for my family. My dad mostly. We live 2 1/2 hours away from my Grandpa. So it has been really ruff on my dad. He is trying to make the drive every few days.

So When I consider all the stress I am also trying to deal with I know that I am still doing good,

my daughter tells me every day how good I look.

That helps make me smile

Week 9

Healthy you challenge

Wow I can't believe that is already been a week..

k it is really hard for me to post on Tuesday's. I have been working 2 jobs now to pay for this wedding. Normally I don't work till the afternoon, Except on Tuesday's my second job is on Tuesday days.

So I think I am just going to plan to check in on Wednesday k.....

I almost wanted to skip this week. I have been so bloated and I just feel very fat. So I really thought that I had gained wait. But this morning I got on the scale and it said 154.5. I got on it again. Same thing. Started walking away and just to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me I went and got on it again. Same, so that means I lost about 5lbs again...... Realy cool. But I really don't know how I did it. Some nights I may think I pig out alittle more then I should. But normally I am pretty good. But I haven't worked out in like a month almost...

So so weird.

But I will take it.

Week 8

Wow it has been so long since I have been on here. I almost forgot what I was doing...
So I weighed myself this morning before I went to work. 160.5lbs. Awesome 5lbs gone.

I have been fluctuating this past 2 weeks. in between 2lbs. I seem to be hitting a Plato. But Spring is less then a month away!!! I can not wait!!!! I am so looking forward to it finally being nice outside.

She was way to young.

Gosh I can't believe that we are already on week 6...WOW Time flys fast.

I was trying so hard to get on here yesterday. But I was just way to buisy.

I am happy to announce that I have lost another 1.5 lbs!!!!

I am doing my happy dance today. I weigh 166.5 And I feel great.

Seriously I don't know the last time I only weighed this much. I have weighed in the 180's for about 4 years. I don't think any thing can mess up my day today :)

I still need to try to focus on drinking more water.

It may only be 1 inch But I am okay with that. I can tell the difference. And I can fit into my jeans again.

So this week I weight in at 166lbs. A total of 20lbs all together. I am happy. But feel that I could be doing a little better.

Things have been very stress full this week.

I have been still pushing myself to eat healthier foods. And better portions of food.

For exercising I have been doing about 4-5 per week.

I am still needing to try harder to drink more water!!!!

Week 4

I weight in at 166.5!!!! Wooo whooo. I lost another 3lbs. I was kind of scared that I wasn't going to loose any because I have had way to much pop and not enough water.

I know that drinking pop will cause you not loose weight. It is just hard sometimes. At work it is really easy for me to drink water. But at home is where I have the problem.

So that is my goal for this week. Try to drink more water.

Stretch bands part 2


In a old post of mine I asked the question if anyone used stretch bands.

No one commented. That shocks me. A little over a year ago I used to go to aerobics class. Part of the time they would always use them. That is how I really found out about them. They are so Awesome.

I try to do my eliptical everyday other day and strech bands on the oppisit days. I found a really good video on Spark People It is 20 minutes long and there are simple things you can do at home or at the office.

It really makes your muscles burn.

Week 3

Ok so here I am checking in. I know I am late but better late then never.

169.5lbs. I didn't gain any nor loose any. Over the weekend I was with a friend the whole time looking over wedding things and meeting with people. She will be getting married about 8 months before me so I choose to tag along, So I can see what people offer. Anyways, I didn't workout at all and I had very unhealthy foods a couple of times. So I guess you can say I am happy at least I didn't gain any back, Right?

In the past couple of days I have been starting to see my legs change, I am been extremely tired lately but have managed to still work out for a 1/2 hour. I am trying to get into the habit of doing something everyday even when I don't feel like it. Because once I don't do it one day it is harder to get up and do it the next. And pretty soon I won't be doing it at all.

I just couldn't take it.

Despite the fact that I was down weight yesterday and excited about it. All night long I had the munchies. I did my best for most the night not to snack.

While cleaning I realized there was one of those new Reeses whipped peanut butter bars!!!! I hadn't tried them before..... 70% less fat. I took a bite...then two.... then three. I quickly threw it down and gave it to my daughter. Got up. I felt sick because I was so disappointed in my self.

I knew what would make me feel better.....

So I went and got my shoes on and hopped on my elliptical. Did it for 30 minutes while watching Biggest Loser. That means I did my elliptical for 60 minutes all together. I can surly feel it in my legs today.

But as they say no pain no gain....

I learned something though. How crappy you feel when you don't stick to your plan. And how could you and your body feels when you do stick to your plan.

Week 2

I am so excited to tell you that I am down 4.5lbs. YAY!!!!
I am jumping out of my seat!!!!!
169lbs!!!! I don't know the last time I weighed that.
Now I have been thinking about this. I got engeged last September. That is when I decided that I was going to lose all my weight for my Wedding. I went and bought my eliptical etc. I went to the doctor back then too. I weighed 186lbs. I was kinda trying at first to lose wieght and I did a little (but that I think was because I stopped eating fast food 6 months ago).
These past couple of weeks I have been really trying on soul searching to help me threw this. I am trying to take time out on just me And focusing on my self while working out 1/2 everyday. And It is actually working!!! All together I have lost 16.5lbs!!!!

week 1

Hello everyone my name is Patti. And I am here because I need to change my life style, make myself healthier.
My goal is to lose 40lbs by the end of this summer. 50lbs if I can. So that I can go out and buy my wedding dress.
I am getting married in May of 09.
Another goal is to work out 30 minutes a day. Right now I am sitting around 20 minutes to nothing a day. I am really trying hard to make room in my busy day for my work out.
